The following actions are available when the policies pick up a Drive violation.

  1. Revert Sharing Permissions: all the sharing permissions will be removed from the violated file, making it a private file for the violator who will be the owner of the file.
  2. Transfer ownership: all the sharing permissions will be removed from the violated file, and the Admin will be made the owner of the file with the file still shared to the previous owner i.e, the violator with 'View' permission.
  3. Remove all access and quarantine: all the sharing permissions will be removed from the violated file including that of the violator(the owner), and the Admin will be made the owner of the file.
  4. Auto encrypt drive files: The violated file will be encrypted with the per-configured password.

The Admin here refers to the Super Admin account holder of your Syscloud account. You can view or change this Backup> Settings> Backup Settings page under the 'Admin Email Address' section.

When the files are quarantined to the Admin, the violated files will be moved to the Google Drive of the Admin account. The quarantined files will be present under the folder structure named 'Quarantine/%email of the violator%'
